LumiNight™ Return & Refund Policy

At LumiNight™, we take great pride in the quality of our reading lights. Every order is inspected before it leaves our warehouse to ensure it meets our high standards.

Damaged or Defective Items

We only offer refunds or replacements for items that arrive damaged or defective. If your product is non-functional or was damaged during transit, you are eligible for a refund or a free replacement.

How to Request a Refund

To initiate a claim, you must contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. Please follow these steps:

  1. Email us: Contact our support team at contact@luminight.store.

  2. Provide Proof: You must include your order number and clear photographic or video evidence showing the damage or defect.

  3. Review: Our team will review your evidence within 48 hours. Once approved, we will process your refund back to your original payment method or ship out a replacement immediately.

Please note: You must contact us and receive approval before attempting to return any items. Returns sent without prior authorization will not be processed.

Exclusions

To maintain our competitive pricing and offer free worldwide shipping, we do not offer refunds or returns for "change of mind", accidental purchases or damage caused by the user after the product has been received in good condition.

Lost Packages

If your tracking information shows that your package has been delivered but you haven't received it, please contact your local postal service first. If they cannot locate it, email us at contact@luminight.store. and we will do our best to assist you.

 

EU Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason.


Withdrawal period: The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier), take physical possession of the goods.


How to exercise your right: To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email, or by using our Right of Withdrawal form). You may use the withdrawal form available on our website, though it is not obligatory.


Effects of withdrawal: Upon withdrawal, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs (except for any additional costs arising from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery we offer). We will process the reimbursement without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day we receive back the goods, or you provide evidence of having returned the goods, whichever is earlier.


Return costs: The direct cost of returning the goods is to be borne by you (the buyer). We recommend using a tracked shipping method, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.


Condition of returned goods: You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.


Exclusions: The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are made to your specifications, clearly personalised, or which by their nature cannot be returned (e.g. sealed goods that have been unsealed after delivery and are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons).
